Acerca de Joseph
Soy Campeón Nacional de Colombia y Campeón de las Américas con más de 14 años de experiencia. Soy Maestro FIDE Candidato. Cuando tenía solo 5 años, mi padre me regaló un tablero de ajedrez y me enamoré inmediatamente del juego. Me he dado cuenta de que el ajedrez te ayuda a desarrollar muchas habilidades importantes para la vida, como la Toma de Decisiones, el Autocontrol, la Memoria, el Pensamiento Racional, la Concentración y el Análisis.
La mayor parte de mi experiencia como tutor proviene de enseñar a alrededor de 400 niños, pero también he ayudado a muchos adultos, incluidos estudiantes mayores de 80 años. El primer paso es entender qué es lo que deseas aprender o mejorar. Una vez que sepa eso, crearé un plan de lecciones divertido y personalizado solo para ti.
Soy paciente y he amado enseñar desde que era niño. He tenido el placer de enseñar a muchas personas cómo jugar y mejorar sus habilidades de ajedrez. Me apasiona ayudar a los demás y encuentro gran alegría en enseñar.

Mejorar en ajedrez es un viaje con muchos desafíos diferentes. Juntos, encontraremos un plan de entrenamiento que se adapte a tus objetivos. A lo largo del camino, el ajedrez te ayudará a desarrollar habilidades esenciales como la Memoria, el Pensamiento Racional, la Toma de Decisiones, la Psicología y el Autocontrol. Esto es especialmente transformador para los niños cuando se les enseña con la metodología adecuada.
Podemos trabajar en todos los aspectos del ajedrez: Aperturas, Tácticas, Finales, Estrategia y Mentalidad. Mejorar en ajedrez requiere entrenar en cada aspecto del juego, pero priorizaremos ciertas áreas dependiendo de tu nivel y experiencia.

Joseph is an excellent tutor! He keeps the student well engaged by asking multiple open questions and keeps the student challenged by inducing difficult puzzles into his lectures. He finds the students weaknesses as well and focuses on fixing those to improve the students game, and he plans lessons with according to the students tournaments and helps the student develop their skills.¡Genial! Joseph is VERY knowledgable, and is able to teach what he knows in an effective way. His style is motivational, informal, and really helpful. My rating score on LiChess has improved by about 300 points since I started taking lessons with him. Well worth the time and money.

Joseph is a really passionate teacher! His lessons are not only helpful and interesting, but you also never want them to end!
Excellent teacher! He helped me learn how to solve the Rubik's cube without any problem. I got the beginner's method in a couple of weeks.
Joseph is a great teacher, he is very patient and has a great understanding of both basic and advanced chess strategies.
