Hello everyone! My name is Lena Sakalla and I am a recent graduate from the University of West Florida with a double major in BFA Musical Theatre & BA in Arts Administration. I am an actor, singer, director, and writer. I have experience directing shows and teaching Voice and Speech and Singing for the past 3 summers with students ages 6-18 years old, as well as directing experience with collegiate students. I can't wait to work with you!

My classes are split into 3 categories: acting, voice, and audition techniques. I want to tailor our classes to best fit YOUR needs as an artist. For acting, I emphasis Meisner, but incorporate aspects of Uta Hagen and Stanislavski. For voice we work with Rodenburg, Lessac, and Laban. For audition techniques I use a variety of theories from Michael Shurtleff's book. I strive to create a comfortable, nurturing environment to provoke confidence in discovering yourself as an artist.
