Desde hace unos meses que he empezado la preparación del First certificate con Michaela, clases tipo one-to-one. Es una de las mejores profesoras de inglés que he tenido. Explica todo super bien y claro, y es capaz de ver las partes que necesito mejorar para trabajar más en ellas y no invertir tanto tiempo en otras cosas que ya domino. Además de ser buena profesora, las clases son muy divertidas y no se me hacen pesadas. Ella hace que aprender inglés sea una muy buena experiencia. Recomiendo al 100% a Michaela porque en estos meses me ha demostrado que realmente se preocupa por que yo aprenda inglés y que apruebe el First! No tengo más que gratitud y ganas de seguir aprendiendo con ella.

For several months now I have been having one-to-one classes with Michaela to prepare for the First Certificate. She is one of the best English teachers I have ever had. She explains everything very well and clearly, and she is able to see the areas I need to improve on and so I work more on them and don’t spend so much time on other things that I already know. Besides being a good teacher, classes with her are very fun and do not make me feel bored. She makes learning English a very good experience. I recommend Michaela 100% because in these months she has shown me that she really wants me to learn English and to pass the First certificate. I have nothing but gratitude and desire to continue learning with her.

I met Michaela four years ago when I was her student at International House, I must say that she was one of the best teachers I had. She is very enthusiastic, kind, patient and is always concerned about her students progress; furthermore, she is the kind of teacher that creates a welcoming learning environment so that, students can feel confident to express their ideas and learn from their mistakes.

I had also the pleasure to have private classes with her for approximately six months, and it was a great experience because I had the opportunity to interact directly with a native speaker. Firstly she evaluated me and designed a study program according to my needs. The sessions were really worth it, she was prepared and organized all the time; besides, she was always eager to explain everything I needed.

Since I was seeking to take the IELTS exam, we went through previous exams and other material. We studied both, productive and receptive skills focusing on my speaking which was my weakness. With practice and her aid, I was able to achieve a breakthrough on it. Now I feel more confident with my speaking, and I will always be grateful to her for that.

Michaela is a trustworthy, reliable, good-humored teacher and friend. I highly recommend her as a tutor.
