Hi! My name is Laura and I was born and brought up in one of the most welcoming cities in the world (yes, Madrid!). And it’s the place where I am currently living. Bachelor of Business Management, Official DELE Examiner by el Instituto Cervantes and Neurolanguage Coach accredited by International Coach Federation (ICF). I am an open-minded and disciplined person who believes in applying daily habits to become the best version of yourself. My hobbies include watercolours, cooking, yoga, reading, listening to podcasts, playing padel and making trekking trips where I enjoy exploring places off the beaten track. I've worked as a Spanish Coach since 2019 and I've specialised in European Spanish for beginners.

I help English speakers to go from zero to confident & conversational in European Spanish, so they can tackle all their daily challenges. The outcome for them is that they can step out of the expat bubble and feel integrated into Spanish culture. I'm a certified Neurolanguage Coach; this approach combines coaching (speaking plays a leading role during our lessons) and neuroscience (each brain is unique, meaning that every one of us learns differently). This methodology provides you with a unique learning experience based on brain-friendly communication, goal & action setting, motivation and commitment. During our lessons, we speak in Spanish, although you can always switch to English when you need it. The most important thing is to keep your brain relaxed in order to get the best result. My 1-1 Online Lessons (focused on speaking) will help you to… 1) Master Spanish Pronunciation (repetition will be your best ally!) so you can understand native speakers and be understood yourself. 2) Understand Real Spanish used by real people that will help you navigate your day-to-day life in Spain. 3) Get a Grip on Spanish Grammar where complex grammar rules and endless exception lists turn into bite-sized, easy-to-understand explications that will get you speaking fast. My students are usually: - In the process of relocating or retiring to Spain - Currently living in Spain for the long-term - Have a family connection to Spain (e.g., spouse or parents) - Spend a good chunk every year visiting Spain My 1-1 Online Lessons are your fast-track to getting confident and conversational in Spanish. From mastering pronunciation (the European kind) to understanding REAL people when they speak and the essential grammar you need to build a rock-solid foundation in Spanish.
