Acerca de Anna
Throughout the years of my work and studies I have acquired a strong background in the fundamentals of pedagogics including children’s psychology and educational methods. For one year I was working in two academies getting involved with children of different leves and ages. I have completed my internship at school Ginesta in Barcelona as an English teacher where I was assigned to teach English through innovative and creative activities for all the ages (4 years until 12 years).
Moreover, I have conducted exchange studies abroad for a semester in University Ghent, Belgium, where I was able to work and collaborate with international students in various team projects. There, I had the opportunity to work in International School Ghent with pre-primary education children as a teacher assistant gaining valuable experience teaching in English which I believe will be enhanced in case I will be accepted at your academy. In addition, I have been actively involved in lesson preparation, classroom management and a wide range of children’s learning activities while working as an intern in primary education schools in Greece. Moreover I was selected by my university, as one of the best students, to work for two months as a teacher in an experimental primary school, where I continued working as a volunteer musician. I am always trying to provide positive educational experiences for the children making learning a fun experience for them.

I based my methodology in fun and rewarding activities. Especially with kids I use physical activities that involve movment and of course fun, games with flashcards puppets and other useful resources. In relation to adults and teenagers I teach through practicing and producing.
