Acerca de Maria
I´m pleased to present this letter for your consideration. My name is Maria Eugenia Zamora (Maru) and I´m looking for a teaching position. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and a Master’s Degree in International Education by the Endicott College of Boston. I have 12 years of teaching experience at an international inclusive school in all Kindergarten and Preschool levels. I believe that all teaching levels represent a challenge and at the same time they have a little magic of their own. I really enjoy working with children, teachers and parents.

I´m an innovative teaching professional with a genuine interest in student development and social skills growth; I always try to be at the vanguard of new teaching practices by taking different courses yearly. I enjoy teaching my students how to read using Sign Language and seeing their faces when they know they have learned something that will open a whole new world for them. Some of my key qualities include: classroom management, daily technology integration, teaching for multiple intelligences, differentiation, and summative/ formative assessment. If required, I have effective communication with parents and in the last few years, I have used the Understanding by Design Model as well as the Everyday Math and Singapore Math Programs.
