I'm a Molecular Biologist from Turkey, living in Barcelona with a passion for making science accessible and enjoyable. I completed my Master's at Universitat de Barcelona and have been tutoring students since 2017.
I speak English, Spanish, and Turkish fluently, which means I can explain complex concepts in whichever language works best for you. I love those "aha!" moments when a student finally gets it — that's what keeps me teaching.
Outside the classroom, I work in biotechnology research and community building, which keeps my scientific knowledge sharp and up to date.

Hi! I'm Sinem, a Molecular Biologist based in Barcelona with a Master's degree from Universitat de Barcelona and a Bachelor's in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Istanbul University (GPA: 8.14/10).
I've been tutoring students in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics since 2017 — adapting my teaching style to each student's pace, learning style, and exam goals.
What I offer:
• Biology & Chemistry from middle school through university level
• Maths and Physics for ages 10–18
• Exam preparation (IB, A-levels, Spanish selectividad, university entrance)
• Sessions in English, Spanish, or Turkish
• Online or in-person (Barcelona)
I hold a certification in laboratory sciences and have a strong background in scientific reasoning — which means I don't just explain what, I explain why. Students I've worked with consistently report higher confidence and better grades within a few sessions.
Whether your child is struggling or simply wants to get ahead, I'll make sure they leave each session understanding — not just memorizing.
