Hi! I’m Tirna. I have a solid background in Mathematics and currently work as a researcher in technology and data science at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona.
Mathematics is not about memorizing formulas without meaning; it is about understanding the logic and patterns behind them. I am passionate about helping students in ESO (Middle School), Bachillerato (High School), and IB (International Bachillerato) lose their fear of numbers and noticeably improve their academic grades.
Especially during school years, I know how frustrating it can be to face Calculus or Statistics when they aren't explained from the foundational roots. My approach is patient, structured, and adapted to the rhythm of each student, ensuring they build a solid base in arithmetic and algebra so advanced concepts feel natural.
Furthermore, because I use English daily in my scientific research environment, I can conduct the lessons entirely in English if the student prefers. This is ideal for students in bilingual or international schools who want to reinforce both the subject and the language at the same time.
