I’m Sofía – a bilingual Spanish teacher with experience helping German-speaking students of all levels learn Spanish in a way that’s natural, enjoyable and tailored to each person. Whether you’re just beginning, picking up where you left off, or aiming to use Spanish for work, travel or personal growth, I’m here to guide you step by step with lessons designed just for you. How I work as a private teacher I believe that learning a language is most effective when it’s personal, interactive and meaningful. In our lessons, you won’t just memorize lists or complete grammar drills—you’ll use the language in real situations, through conversation, listening practice, real-life materials and topics that matter to you. Each student is unique, and I always adapt the pace, focus and style to fit your needs and goals. My aim is to help you feel confident, curious and motivated. Teaching methods and techniques My approach combines communication-based methods with clear, structured support. That means we focus on speaking and understanding from day one, while building solid grammar and vocabulary in a practical way. I use a mix of: Interactive speaking activities and role plays Short, real-world texts and videos (adapted to your level) Visual aids and digital tools to clarify grammar points Games, quizzes and storytelling for review and motivation Occasional use of German when needed (especially at beginner levels) You’ll receive a personalized summary after each lesson, with vocabulary, tips and optional homework. What makes me different as a teacher? I speak both Spanish and German, so I understand exactly where German learners need extra support. I create a safe, encouraging environment where you're not afraid to make mistakes. I'm organized, patient, creative and passionate about helping others enjoy language learning. I don’t follow a single textbook—I design your learning path based on you. Who are my lessons for? My lessons are perfect for: German-speaking Beginners (A1) to upper-intermediate (B2) People who want to learn Spanish for travel, work, everyday life or cultural interest Learners who prefer a clear, relaxed and motivating approach to speaking Spanish I do not currently offer exam preparation (e.g., DELE), but I’m happy to help with general language improvement and fluency.
