Hello! My name is Juan, and I am a mathematician with a Master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences and over 3 years of experience teaching mathematics at university level.
I offer clear, structured, and rigorous mathematics tutoring for students who want to truly understand concepts, not just memorize procedures. My lessons are adapted to each student’s level, goals, and learning style.

My teaching method is based on understanding first, practice second, and mastery as a result.
I believe that most difficulties in mathematics come from gaps in foundational concepts. For this reason, I start by identifying the student’s current level and the specific points where understanding breaks down. From there, I build explanations step by step, adapting the pace and depth to each student.
My lessons typically follow this structure:
Clarification of key concepts using clear language and intuitive explanations.
Guided examples, where we solve problems together and discuss the reasoning behind each step.
Independent practice, with carefully selected exercises that reinforce understanding.
Feedback and refinement, focusing on common mistakes and efficient problem-solving strategies.
I emphasize conceptual clarity over memorization, while also training students to be precise and efficient when solving exercises, especially for exams.
For university-level students, I also focus on:

Developing problem-solving intuition
