I have a passion and talent for inspiring my students to be successful. Learning a language is more than about mastering grammar and syntax; it involves developing a living understanding of culture, people, and social context. The best way to learn a language is through a personally relevant relationship that encourages a profound desire to live the language rather than simply committing vocabulary to memory. With my extensive international background, which includes growing up in Nigeria, living in Spain for eight years and extended stays in Saudi Arabia and the UK, I have the life experience to inspire that type of desire within students of all ages.
Not only does my personal history help me impart the love and command of languages, but I am also fully academically qualified for the task. Besides my scholastic experiences in both English and Spanish settings, I also possess an International TEFL Certificate and an Advanced Certification in TESOL. Both certifications required 120 hours of hands-on classroom training, lesson plan development, teaching instruction, learning style analysis, and rigorous knowledge of TEFL methodologies.
I pride myself on the thorough comprehension of my pupils and have been praised for my professionalism, creative teaching techniques and full mastery of both the Spanish (Castellano) and English languages. I have had the pleasure of cultivating the learning of a wide variety of individuals, including CEOs, Executive Directors, language enthusiasts, and children.
