I asked Dasha for a few sessions to refresh my knowledge of color and to revisit some topics related to art history, especially examples from contemporary art. She prepared the lessons incredibly quickly and put a lot of thought into them. The lessons were long, high-quality, and exactly what I was hoping for. I learned a lot and would absolutely recommend working with her. 100/10.

After working with Darya, I realized what my works had been missing before—now it became clear that they resembled fake flat images in an attempt to copy reality. Darya taught me to look at things around me realistically and through the new prism of an artist. We don't just draw, we analyze why objects have weight and how their forms have been interpreted over the centuries by different artists, from which I have repeatedly drawn inspiration. I like that she is completely impartial; she doesn't just encourage me, but also points out the uncomfortable, unpleasant reasons why a form seems “fake” basing her feedback on hard facts from art history or, for example, physics, rather than empty praise. Finally, I feel that I am not just creating images, but truly understanding the soul and history of the objects I create, as well as understanding what ideas I really want to work on.

Darya taught me how to see as an artist and still teaches me. the big discovery for me was that I heard and understood the idea of painting for the first time in her lessons. that this world has its own laws and structure, and not just repeats reality. Nobody explain this to me in college classes, I didn't catch it from YouTube tutorial videos, etc.
then we analyzed each law separately.
That's what I've been missing all this time-a deep philosophical approach with a lot of observation.
not all teachers can direct you to a THOUGHT and idea, usually it's some kind of monotonous work without turning the subject inside out. It's not like that here, it's interesting here.

Darya chooses classes for stuffing hands, but according to my observation, she works more with perception and tries to polish it, which subsequently changes the quality of work.
