Physician and bioinformatician with an MSc in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences from UPF and research experience at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, I offer a rare dual perspective that bridges clinical intuition with rigorous computational methodology. My work integrating histological imaging and gene expression data using machine learning and multivariate statistics has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international congresses, ensuring my teaching is grounded in real-world research.

My classes are hands-on and interdisciplinary: I teach bioinformatics and biostatistics through real datasets and reproducible pipelines, not abstract theory alone. Drawing from my own self-directed journey from clinical practice to computational research, I meet students where they are, and encourage using modern AI-assisted tools to accelerate production of results.
