Acerca de Vanessa
Vanessa Martínez is the director of the Vane Martínez Dance Academy which was founded eleven years ago with a very clear premise: dance is not just a performance technique. It is a tool for personal, emotional, and spiritual transformation. Since then, it has trained women who have found self-esteem, inner power, and their deepest essence through movement.
Behind this academy is a woman who has dedicated 18 years to oriental dance, or Raks Sharqi as it is known in Arabic. What began as a personal quest for femininity became a mission: to create a space where other women could also find themselves. She has taken her dance to national and international stages as a workshop facilitator, competitor, and teacher at high-level festivals and workshops.

I offer online personalized classes or in-person personalized or group classes at my academy in Cali, Colombia. To students of all abilities.
A technical and therapeutic approach is used, involving an interview with the student who wishes to learn, improve, or enhance their style.
Methodology includes: dance preparation (strengthening), step technique, choreography creation, and dance study (theory and rhythm).
