Acerca de Aurora
Hola! I am Aurora, I was born and raised in Spain, but with my heart in every corner of the world. Since I was little, I played and dreamt of being a teacher. Later, I discovered my great interest in languages, so I decided to join these two passions. I chose to study a degree in English Studies, since I’m fascinated by the English language in order to be able to communicate with people from all over the world.
But this all started exactly six years ago, when I moved to London for my Erasmus. There, I met lots of new people, from all over the world and from different cultures. It was there that I realised how being able to speak other languages may change your life. The fact of being able to communicate with other people who are not from your country and being able to get to know more about their culture, it’s incredible.
That’s when I knew it: I wanted to help other people to make this change in their lives by helping them to learn another language, my language, Spanish. So I decided to study a Master’s degree in order to specialise in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.
Thanks to this Master, I started working as a Spanish teacher in different language academies in London and also in primary schools. There I confirmed all my suspicions: I love teaching about my language and culture. Meeting people from different parts of the world and being able to learn about their cultures while you teach them about yours, it’s something priceless.

Hola! :) I'm Aurora, a qualified and experienced Spanish teacher. My mission is to help you learn real Spanish in a natural and effortless way.
My lessons are tailored and dynamic, adapted to your interests, objectives and level. I will teach you Spanish with a methodology based on Cognitive Grammar, designed to make you learn Spanish in a natural way, forgetting about traditional lists of uses and exceptions.
Don’t worry if you think lessons may be difficult for you at the beginning. I speak fluently English and Italian, which means that I have the capacity to understand everything you tell me in any of these languages, so we can rely on other languages to clarify any doubts you may have. But I advise you that our lessons will be only in Spanish from the very beginning, because my experience taught me this is the best way to learn a language.
How are my classes? We will always work with real situations, with dynamic resources like videos, podcasts, music, newspaper articles and quality manuals. Lessons are completely personalised according to your objectives and level. For example, if you struggle with a specific grammatical area or if you want to improve your pronunciation, we can work together on that. Or if, on the contrary, you are a beginner, don’t worry, we’ll start from scratch.
I will also adapt myself to your interests, if you want to learn Spanish for business, because you’ll live in a Spanish speaking country or simply because you like it. We can talk about any topic you’re interested in. Personally, I love to talk about different cultures, travels, fitness and psychology.
In short, I also know how hard is to learn a new language, because I’ve also studied English and Italian and I keep learning them every day. But I also know that its benefits and personal satisfaction are worth it.
In your first lesson, we’ll evaluate your level and establish objectives for the next lessons. I love to know people from different parts of the world, so in our lessons, apart from learning, we’ll also have a great time together.
