My teaching approach is based on active interaction and experiential learning. I use a combination of traditional methods and more modern approaches to adapt to my students' preferences and learning styles. Some of the techniques I use include:
Natural Conversation: I encourage active communication from day one, which helps students gain confidence and fluency in Spanish and Catalan.
Multimedia Resources: I use a variety of resources, such as videos, songs, and interactive games, to make learning more attractive and dynamic.
Focus on Culture: I incorporate Spanish and Catalan culture into my lessons to give my students a deeper understanding of the language and society.
Continuous Assessment: I constantly monitor my students' progress and adapt my approach based on their individual needs.
Example of a Class Program:
Each class is tailored to the needs and levels of the students, but a typical lesson program might include:
Warm-up: We begin with an informal conversation to relax and get into the spirit of the class.
Grammar and Vocabulary: I introduce new grammatical concepts and relevant vocabulary.
Practical Exercises: Students apply what they have learned in interactive exercises.
Reading or Listening to Media: We work on listening and reading comprehension using authentic materials.
Conversation: We practice conversation in real life situations.
Summary and Homework: We summarize what we have learned and assign homework for the next class.
